Rebecca L. Allen, a 64-year-old resident of Waco, lost life in a tragic three-vehicle crash early Thursday morning on State Highway 164 near Mart in McLennan County, Texas.
Authorities reported that the collision occurred around 6:30 a.m. on April 16, 2026, approximately three miles west of Mart under normal visibility conditions.
Investigators stated that a Nissan Sentra driven by another Waco resident crossed the center line and struck Allen’s Ford Escape head-on, leading to severe damage and a devastating outcome.
Emergency responders pronounced Allen dead at the scene, leaving the community in shock and sorrow.
The crash also involved a third vehicle, whose driver survived with injuries that officials described as not life-threatening.
