Leon Daniels, Husband of 53 Years and Beloved Family Man, Dies Peacefully After a Long Battle With Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
Leon Daniels passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, after living for more than six years with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a rare neurodegenerative condition.
Their death has left deep sorrow for spouse Marge Daniels, family members, and loved ones who stood beside Leon through years of care and medical challenges.
A fundraiser organized by Alyssa Eberle said Marge remained a steady source of love and strength throughout Leon’s illness, helping with daily care, physical therapy visits, hospital stays, and hospice support in the final weeks of life.
The fundraiser also shared that Leon spent 12 days in the hospital before a feeding tube procedure and became bedridden during the last five weeks of life.
Family members described Leon’s passing as a peaceful moment and remembered a marriage that lasted more than 53 years, marked by devotion, faith, and enduring support.
Loved ones said memorial and obituary details will be announced later as the family continues to grieve and honor Leon’s life.
